Hi, my name is Avram Dreyer!

I am a student at Cornell University studying Mechanical Engineering. I am interested in applied physics, mechanical and aerospace engineering, and astronomy.

In the past, I interned under the Parziale Group at Stevens Institute of Technology, where I helped conduct fluid dynamics research on turbulent hypersonic flow. Currently, I am part of the ZT Group at Cornell, working on developing a nano-scale thermal switch for use in microelectronic thermal management.

I am a member of the Cornell Autonomous Sailbot Team (CUSail), a student design team that competes to design an autonomous boat powered entirely by windpower. As part of the Mechanical subteam, I have been involved with fabricating our custom fibreglass composite hull, as well as designing a prototype aerofoil sail for use in a future transatlantic autonomous sailboat.
